Very nice tenants and very good pizza and pasta

We have often grabbed a pizza here in the past few months and have always been very satisfied. The pizza tastes really good (even after a 10-minute drive) and we are looking forward to it when we can finally eat it really fresh in the restaurant. Until then we will continue to come to the collection. The owners are also incredibly friendly and welcoming! Until next time!

After hearing how good it tastes at your place recently, we ordered something to be picked up today. And what can I say ... the pizza was super delicious! Thank you, we'll be back!

Update Oct / 2020: If the chef at the table briefly explains the pizza, then you should be impressed :) In advance you could have small variations on the pizza changed. An Italian roll of bacon was recommended - thinly sliced, drizzled with lemon oil. As a starter, the boss's mother-in-law had pickled eggplants and zucchini things. Great. The best thing to do is to always ask before ordering what else is there besides the menu - the menu doesn't really reflect everything. We were then also brought a freshly chopped garden pepper to sharpen. At some point we will test the presented board with the daily specials - usually pasta. In short: again very enthusiastic. Initial assessment: Pizza in Bayreuth is known to be a difficult topic :) After "Le 2 laterne" closed, the best dough ever, we were a little disoriented. After a tip we visited this pizzeria / restaurant at Bindlach Airport for the first time. Guest room not too small and cramped, but not too big either. Facility is nice. Fits. You like to sit there. The service / waitress was also very nice. Boss rotates and does - very service-conscious. We thought it was good. Most importantly, the food. The map is very small and clear. That made one sit up and take notice, we thought it was good. The pizza: Everything stands and falls with it: Yes, the dough was really good. Quite fluffy, the edge soft, but not too soft, with a touch of crispness. The tomato sauce primer was flavorful. The ham sliced ​​very thin and not as thick slices of fat as elsewhere. It looked good optically and the individual ingredients tasted like something. Not too much and not too little topping - a good balance. Conclusion: yes, gladly again. We liked it very much. Parking is easy, the pizza dough is great. The service was friendly and nice - what more could you want. New favorite pizzeria.

Everything is delicious and lovingly arranged! You can tell that great emphasis is placed on good quality, just like in Italy! Solo roba seria .... 😁. Ritorniamo volentieri!

Newly leased since 2019 - now an Italian restaurant. The pizza is delicious and definitely worth a visit, also reasonably priced. I find the drink prices as well as pasta or meat / fish dishes too expensive. In terms of taste, the food is average for me (if not bad), sometimes small portions (portion size often fluctuates, however). The order / cleanliness on the terrace and the backyard often leaves a lot to be desired.

Has the tenant changed? Menu with a lot of pizzas which were very good. Missed the hearty cuisine from before. The menu is the highlight and it takes a long time to read it. A very large wooden board that the girls almost cannot carry. The previous tenant suited me more.

Unfortunately only light and shadow. The food is good, no question about it. But if the thistle grows 1m high, numerous flowers have dried up, pieces of broken glass lie around or dishes stand on the perimeter wall, that's a shame. The children's playground has seen much better days. In addition, the bar was only unlocked 10 minutes after the official opening time. All of this cannot outweigh the good food. You definitely don't feel like in Italy! You always ask yourself what it looks like in places that you can't see if the obvious ones don't interest you. I don't understand why you can't invest the few minutes to keep things tidy. This is a kind of advice to the operator.

Very nice place with a slightly smaller menu. But very good food, large portions and homemade pasta. Very nice staff and normal prices.

Every time just incredibly delicious! Probably the best Italian in Bayreuth and surroundings !!! You can tell that everything is done with love and you feel like you're on vacation.

Easy to reach. Sufficient parking spaces. Great atmosphere especially for aviators. Very nice playground for children. Food is very good and the service is very friendly and quick. We highly recommend it.

Today we were in the On Top restaurant at Bayreuth airfield. The waitresses were very friendly and nice. We had pizza and the dish of the day "pork tenderloin with fried potatoes in Gorgonzola sauce". After ordering we didn't have to wait long for the food - everything came one after the other. We give 5 stars because everything was great and delicious. We will be back and we will recommend this restaurant to our guests.

I was a little skeptical at the beginning, but soon I was taught better. Seldom to never enjoyed Italian cuisine. Everything is perfect, from the super friendly and attentive service, to the amazing starters and the main course. The pizza was exactly how you imagine a perfect pizza. Somehow everything is made with love, which you can also taste and taste clearly. Will recommend it and will definitely come back !!!!

Nice restaurant right on the airfield with a view. Parking is available and the service is friendly and the food is price / performance as far as okay. Similarly, the well-kept sanitary facilities are very positive.
